Following a recent DJ set gone awry, Grammy-winning producer Mark Ronson ended up in the hospital. Ronson suffered two torn bicep tendons while attempting to adjust a stage monitor mid-mix. Despite the mishap, Ronson shared a photo from his hospital bed with him giving a thumbs up, making light of the incident by using the hashtag #tornthisway, a reference to his frequent collaborator Lady Gaga. Celebrities like Chelsea Handler, Diplo, Santigold, Sean Lennon, and Sammy Hagar shared their support for Ronson’s quick recovery in the comments. It remains unclear where Ronson was DJing at the time of his injury, but just days before, he was in New York promoting his upcoming memoir, Night People: How to Be a DJ in ’90s New York City, which is set for release in September. A post over the weekend features Ronson over a turntable, with the caption, “Five hour vinyl set. Just like I used to.” (Rolling Stone)
