On Thursday (February 13), Madonna announced that she is diligently at work on new music. and she “can’t wait to share it with you!!” In a video slideshow posted on Instagram, the Material Girl shared some behind-the-scenes glimpses of her in the studio with producer Stuart Price. “My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music,” Madonna captioned her post. The seven-time Grammy winner also revealed that her new project has the working title of, Confessions Part 2, hinting at a creative follow-up to her chart-topping 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor. While the 66-year-old pop superstar remains focused on her music career, she also recently dabbled in comedy, making a surprise appearance with Amy Schumer at the Comedy Cellar in New York City in January. Madonna is also in the process of developing a biopic about her extraordinary life and career. (Billboard)
