Meet Stack 3

Houston “Stack 3” Stackhouse initiated his career in Helena at KCLT and KAKJ at the age of 17, eventually transitioning to KIPR Power 92 in June 1998. With over 27 years at KIPR Power 92 Jams and over 30 years of total radio experience, he progressed from part-time nights and weekends to the night show 6-10pm as part of the Bad Boy Show. He subsequently became the mid-day host 9-2pm and eventually assumed the role of Urban Production Director in 2002, followed by Urban Cluster Production Director in 2007.

In 2015, he transitioned into the Urban Programming Assistant for KIPR, KOKY, and KZPK, a position he still holds, while also serving as Urban Production Director and Assistant Music Director for the Urban Cluster. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards, including the Watershed Award for Community Service and the SEA Male Radio Personality of the Year. He had also been a part of the Marconi award-winning station of the year. He has also supported various non-profit organizations, including Jammers Charity Basketball, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

His professional endorsements include the University of Arkansas Minority Recruiting, University of Arkansas Pine Bluff, Cricket Communications, Metro PCS, T-Mobile, Morris Law Firm, Mays Byrd O’Guinn Law Offices, Car Mart, Saracen Casino, Comcast, Landers Automotive Group, and World Wrestling Entertainment.

On a personal note, he is a devoted husband, father, and regular church attendee, who actively advises youth and previously coached youth football. His hobbies include health and fitness and has been a personal trainer for over 10 years.
