Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” claims the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for an eighth consecutive week. The track ties 24kGoldn’s “Mood” (featuring Jann Dior) eight-week rule in 2020-21 for the second-longest run at No. 1 among rap hits this decade, after Roddy Ricch’s “The Box,” which topped the chart for 11 weeks in 2020. Elsewhere in this week’s Top 10, Drake’s “Nokia” moves up a spot to reach a new peak of No. 2, marking the first time that the rival rappers occupy the top two spots on the Hot 100 simultaneously.

Two songs hit the Top 10 for the first time, as BigXthaPlug’s “All the Way,” featuring Bailey Zimmerman, debuts at No. 4, and Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” vaults seven spots to No. 7. BigXthaPlug and Warren each earn the first Top 10s of their career, while Zimmerman notches his second. The rest of the Top 10 includes Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” which drops a spot to No. 3, Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” sticks at No. 5, Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” falls two slots to No. 6, Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” drops two places to No. 8, Morgan Wallen‘s “I’m the Problem” remains at No. 9, and Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” moves up a spot to No. 10.
