Steve Broadnax, an Arkansas native and now big time Broadway Director. Steve talks about “Marie and Rosetta” The musical coming to the the Arkansas Rep. Outside July 13th thou August 1st on the grounds of War memorial park. Marie and Rosetta chronicles Sister Rosetta’s first rehearsal with a young prota’ge’ Marie Knight (Jones), as they prepare to embark on a tour that would establish them as one of the great duet teams in musical history. Rosette was born in Cotton Plant Arkansas and was inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame in 2018.
