Fitzs Hill with Arkansas Baptist College (ABC) a private Baptist-affiliated, historically Black college in Little Rock. Founded in 1884 as the Minister’s Institute, ABC was initially funded by the Colored Baptists of the State of Arkansas. It is the only historically Black Baptist college west of the Mississippi River. Summer and fall semesters are coming up and they’re working with the kids from Job Core. President Jeffrey Northfleet with Shorter College a private, faith-based, two-year liberal arts college located in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Kenneth “Muskie” Harris, co-founder of Muskie Harris Recovery Service. Muskie was a four-year letterman in football at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and was the first young Black man to attend U of A from Little Rock Central High School on an athletic scholarship.
