The Department of Health and Human Services released Arkansas' enrollment data for individuals who have completed applications to obtain health insurance through the new Health Insurance Marketplace.
This covers exactly one month since its launch on October 1. As of November 2, only 250 people had completed the insurance process, with another 506 applications still pending.
The number falls well below expectations, although the 14,000 people that have actually applied.
Officials says the program is moving in the right direction, but says no one can deny that the healthcare-dot-gov start up was as rough as it could possibly be.
