A Tennessee National Guard employee remains in custody after reportedly shooting his commanding officers at the National Guard Armory in Millington Thursday.
Sergeant First Class Amos Patton served as a recruiter for the Army National Guard for nearly 20 years. Before the shooting, Patton's bosses had come to town to talk with him about administrative policies and procedures. Patton reportedly went to his car during the meeting and got a pistol, then returned an opened fire on his commanding officers.
The other soldiers tackled him and took him out as he attempted to run. Three people were treated for gunshot wounds. Patton will be in court today.

Benton detectives say they solved a number of armed robberies this month, and found three of them were related to gang activity.
Benton police have arrested four people involved in the crime spree. Twenty-three-year-old Ryan Walker, 18-year-old Marcus Whitaker, 19-year-old Kristen Gay and an unidentified male juvenile.
Despite recent violent crimes, Benton residents say they won't give up on their city-they just hope this crime does not become a habit.

Hot Springs Police confirmed one person has been injured following a shooting in the parking lot of the Carmike Central City 10.
It happened about 8 pm last night. The condition of the victim is not known. The theater is located on Higdon Ferry Road. No suspects at this time.

Law enforcement officers are searching for a man they say tried to rape a woman after meeting her and her friend at a bar.
An arrest warrant was issued Wednesday for 23-year-old Colin Breshawn Toatley, who is wanted for rape and terroristic threatening.
The victim said she met Toatley that night at Midtown Billiards in Downtown Little Rock. He allegedly followed her home and cornered her in the bathroom. He ran away after she hit him upside the head with a toothpaste dispenser.
PCSO says Colin Breshawn Toatley stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, and has a current Little Rock address, but is also known to frequent the Pine Bluff and Malvern areas. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Pulaski County authorities at 501-340-6940.
