Jacksonville police are investigating a shooting that killed one man and injured another.

Around 9:40 Monday night officers were called to a shooting to the 1100 block of Lehman Drive. When they arrived they found two men with gunshot wounds.

Willie Hadley was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was treated and released.

The suspects are described as two black men, one wearing a red hoodie and hat and the other wore a grey hoodie. Both suspects fled on foot. If you have any information regarding this incident please contact the Jacksonville Police Department at (501) 982-3191.

A Nevada math teacher is being called a hero after he stepped between his students and a boy with a gun. A 12-year-old boy went on a shooting rampage, injuring two other students and killing teacher Mike Landsberry before turning the gun on himself. Police are still trying to figure out why he did it.

Speaking of heroes, 51-year-old Sheila Hart of Jacksonville is being honored for her actions as the school bus she was driving got hijacked last week. You may remember 11 elementary students were on board when a man jumped on the bus with a knife and led police on a chase. Authorities say Hart was responsible for keeping the kids safe and making sure no one was injured. She'll be honored today at 1 pm at the PCSSD bus complex on Redmond Road.

The Arkansas Democrat Gazette says they've discovered that taxpayers in Bryant picked up the tab for the police chief and another city official at a Florida strip club.

Chief Mark Kizer and Bryant High school resource officer Lee Ledbetter ate a steak at Rachel's Adult Entertainment, an upscale nude club in Orlando. Kizer called it tame, comparing the place to Hooters. But the restaurant says they always have naked women present.

The tab for the two totalled $108 and was apparently charged to the city of Bryant. Mayor Jill Dabbs says she has turned the matter over the Human Resources.
