A teenager was shot to death during an attempted robbery in Pine Bluff.
Police say 19-year-old Jarvis Davis was at the University Deli shortly after midnight when an unknown man approached him and pulled a gun. Davis reportedly tried to fight him off, and that's when he was shot in the stomach. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Little Rock Police are investigating a stabbing murder that happened at the 1600 block of Elm Street early yesterday morning.
Marcus McFee died around 7 last night in the hospital. Police do have a suspect: Kenneth L. Smith was arrested on Battery Street. Smith is reportedly an ex-boyfriend of McFee's lady friend.
Smith stands charged with first-degree murder.

A 37-year-old man from Jacksonville has been arrested for allegedly committing several attacks on the power grid in Lonoke County.
FBI investigators have charged Jason Woodring with destruction of an energy facility after neighbors reported an explosion beneath the power lines in Woodring's back yard.
Some neighbors say Woodring has mental problems, and that he's always tormenting people in the area. He reportedly lives alone. He was known as a neighborhood nuisance. Several people said law enforcement has been called to Woodring's house in the past about loud music in his house and a circus tent in his yard.
If convicted, Woodring faces up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.
