Little Rock Police are  investigating a homicide from Tuesday night.

They were called to 15th and Harrison after neighbors say they heard several shots. When police arrived, they found the body of a man inside a vehicle.

Right now the victim has not been identified. They don't have a suspect or motive at this time.

A Cabot man has been arrested for child pornography after an investigation that began back in July.

Authorities say 20-year-old Eric A. Bradley had more than 2,000 items of kiddie porn in his possession when they arrested him yesterday.

As of now Bradley is still in the custody of Lonoke County authorities.

The executive director of the Arkadelphia Housing Authority has been accused of raping another man.

According to police, Frederick Hatley allegedly raped a man at the housing authority office on 6th Street in Arkadelphia back on September 11. The victim lives at the apartment complex.

Hatley initially denied the accusations and voluntarily gave DNA, but the test results proved to be a positive match. Hatley is currently out on $75,000 bond.

A water main burst in Benton Tuesday afternoon, causing a the utilities department to issue a boil order.

The rupture at the intersection of Hicks and Alcoa caused about 25 customers to lose water pressure. All customers on the south side of Alcoa Rd and the residents of the Timbermist Subdivision are affected. These customers are advised to boil their water briskly for at least one minute before using it.

Water samples will be tested first thing this morning. Results are expected by late Friday. The boil order will be in place until then.

Arkansas lawmakers are reviewing the rules for enforcing a new state law that requires voters to show photo identification when they cast a ballot.

A legislative subcommittee is set to discuss the rules today. The Republican-controlled Legislature enacted the law earlier this year when it overrode a veto by Governor Beebe.

The law takes effect in January. Opponents of the law have said they plan to sue in state court to block its enforcement.

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff has hired a firm to handle its marketing and public relations.

The school announced Tuesday that The Design Group will work to help the campus increase enrollment, retention and graduation rates. It's all part of UAPB's "reimaging initiative."

Chancellor Laurence B. Alexander says the school is developing new strategies and partnerships to help students better prepare to join the workforce.
