Drake Announces Rescheduled Date For Young Money Reunion Concert

The widely-anticipated Young Money Reunion concert featuring Drake reuniting with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne was postponed after the Canadian rapper tested positive for Covid-19.

The concert was scheduled to take place on August 1 at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage as the grand finale to Drake’s three-day October World Weekend.

“I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for Covid and the Young Money Reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible,” he wrote on Instagram. “I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked. Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy.”

Drake has since announced that the Young Money Reunion concert will now take place on Saturday, August 6.

“Negative test.positive outcome.this was the only date available until the fall and because the family is so solid everybody is flying back in to make it happen for you all.SEE YOU SATURDAY.young moulaaa,” he wrote on Instagram.

October World Weekend is a three-day Toronto-based festival that commemorates the 10th anniversary of Drake’s OVO Fest.
