Janelle Monae debuts new song

Janelle Monae, an Atlanta-based R&B artist who has dazzled audiences at Bonnaroo and SXSW, has posted her new track "Tightrope" off of her debut full-length album The ArchAndroid, which features Outkast member Big Boi

An artist that SPIN describes as a "futuristic funk diva," the track displays Monae's style that is somewhere in between Beyonce and India Arie.  Outkast influences are highly evident in the track with the catchy, upbeat drum rhythms of Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.
